Our barn kits focus on the structural shell, supplying the framework and key enclosure materials that form the backbone of your building and define the strength, beauty, and longevity of your structure:
- Bent Framing (6”x6” to 6”x12” fully dimensional are typical, kiln-dried Rough Cut Douglas fir)
- Plate Connections (Powder Coated)
- Rough Cut Roof Sheathing

- Board & Batten Siding – Rough Cut Pine (Board – 1”x10”, Batten – 1”x4”)

- Girt Wall Framing (2”x6” Pine wall girt framing placed 24” OC with heavy-duty girt screws)
- Purlins (4”x6” Douglas fir roof purlins placed 32” OC with heavy-duty purlin screws)

Each package is pre-cut, drilled, and labeled, making reassembly efficient whether you’re working with a builder or taking on the project yourself.
Pricing & What to Expect
The barn you’re standing in is a great reference point for cost.
• Kit Price: $36,419
• Turnkey Estimate: A common rule of thumb for total project cost for barns is ≈ 2 to 3× the kit price if you are building in the Nebraska area. This accounts for foundation, onsite labor, final layer of roofing material, any doors or windows not added to your Legacy order, and interior finishes. If you plan to handle construction yourself, you can reduce those overall costs.
