Take a look at two of our new pre-designed home kits! Both kits feature the popular monoslope roofline, which creates a distinguished style and efficient design capabilities. Shown first, the Denton 4248, is a stylish 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with large open spaces and a moderate footprint. The second, the Denton 1628, boasts the smallest footprint of our pre-designed kits and was designed with buildability in mind. This is the perfect option for a small private cabin, a unique vacation rental, and more.

Legacy Office Showroom Expansion

Expanded Legacy office showcasing the beauty of post and beam, opening Spring 2023.

Fremont, NE – Nov 22, 2022 – Legacy Post & Beam (Legacy), a leading nationwide provider of post and beam kits, has announced it is expanding its facility in Fremont, NE.

The new 2,900 sq ft space will feature office and meeting rooms in addition to showcasing post and beam construction. “We are excited to keep building our Legacy in Fremont,” said Brian Wiese, Co-Owner of Legacy. “The new space will provide a wealth of insight for our customers that visit from across the nation, as many who are building with post and beam have never actually seen a completed kit in person. The size, scale, and beauty of utilizing natural rough-cut timbers is hard to fully imagine until you see it up close.”

In addition to sharing the beauty of post and beam with potential customers, the space will allow for eight new offices and two larger meeting areas. “The additional space will allow us to better accommodate our existing team” said Heather Norris, Co-Owner of Legacy. “We have an exceptional team of post and beam enthusiasts that has essentially doubled since relocating to Fremont four years ago. The last few years have been so busy, that we haven’t had a chance to work on our own project, so we are excited to finally be building a top-notch space for everyone to enjoy”.

As Legacy looks toward the future, Tim Norris, Co-Owner of Legacy states, “Our goal has always been to be the best post and beam company out there. We don’t have our eyes set on being the biggest. We pride ourselves on building kits with high quality materials, providing an exceptional customer experience, and using each new project as an opportunity to live up to our name of building Legacies.”

The expansion is currently underway at the company’s office at 3220 East Morningside Road, Fremont, NE 68025. It is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2023.

Modern Farmhouse Style Post and Beam Home

Take a look at this trendy home with ageless character. The beauty of the Douglas-fir timbers are a centerpiece highlighted by the modern interior finishes. The end result is an inspiring home with expert function and flow.

The main level comes in at just over 1,600 sq ft and includes an open concept kitchen, living, and dining room. Additionally, it has three bedrooms and two baths (which includes a master suite). The second floor is just under 500 sq ft and encompass an office and additional bedroom.
